Four Years of Being Recognised by the Clean + Conscious Awards
Published: | Last Updated:Share
At Gift Me Again, sustainability has never been about chasing trends. It has always been about creating something thoughtful, useful and lasting.
That is why being recognised by the Clean + Conscious Awards over multiple years has felt especially meaningful for our small rural Australian business.
Since first entering, our reusable fabric gift bags have now been recognised across four consecutive award seasons, including finalist recognition again in 2026.
What the Clean + Conscious Awards Represent
The Clean + Conscious Awards celebrate brands creating products with consideration for both people and planet. The awards assess not only quality and functionality, but also sustainability, ethics, social responsibility and transparency.
Founded by Emily Fletcher, the awards have become one of Australia and New Zealand’s most respected programs for conscious consumer products.
According to the 2026 media release, more than 600 products across 130 categories were recognised this year, spanning everything from beauty and wellness to fashion, homewares and zero waste living.
Each finalist is reviewed by an expert judging panel made up of sustainability advocates, ethical business leaders, journalists and industry professionals.
For a handmade business like Gift Me Again, it is incredibly encouraging to see thoughtful, slower and more intentional products celebrated alongside larger brands.
Our Clean + Conscious Awards Journey
Over the years, Gift Me Again has been fortunate to receive the following recognition:
- 2023 Silver Award - Celebrations & Stationery
- 2024 Bronze Award & Editors’ Choice Award - Zero Waste - Home
- 2025 Silver Award - Celebrations & Stationery
- 2026 Finalist
Every year we enter, it prompts an important reflection on how we operate as a business.
Not just what we make, but how we make it.
From choosing reusable materials and creating products designed for long-term use, through to reducing unnecessary packaging and producing in small batches, sustainability is something we continually work towards rather than something we claim to have perfected.
Why Recognition Like This Matters to Small Businesses
Running a small handmade business in rural NSW means every product is cut, sewn, packed and shared with care.
There are no huge warehouses or mass production lines behind Gift Me Again. Just thoughtful design choices, practical sustainability and a genuine desire to help reduce single-use gift wrap waste.
Awards like these matter because they shine a light on businesses trying to do things differently.
The 2026 Clean + Conscious Awards media release spoke about brands “creating products with integrity, transparency and care for people and planet.” That philosophy strongly aligns with why Gift Me Again was created in the first place.
Not to encourage more consumption, but to create beautiful products people can use again and again.
Looking Ahead
Whether recognised as a finalist, silver winner or simply supported by customers choosing reusable gift wrap, every step of this journey has been incredibly appreciated.
As consumers become more mindful about the products they bring into their homes, we believe there is growing value in products designed for longevity, reuse and tradition.
We are proud to continue representing handmade Australian business within the conscious living space and grateful to the Clean + Conscious Awards for continuing to celebrate businesses working towards positive change.
